On this page, you’ll learn:
• What happens during your first visit
• How ongoing care works
• ACC and payment information
• Practical details to help you arrive confident and prepared
Your First Visit
Your initial appointment includes time to talk, assess, and plan — not just treatment.
• A conversation about your health history, lifestyle, and goals
• Assessment of movement, posture, and how your body is loading
• Clear explanation of findings in plain language
• A tailored care plan designed around your needs and priorities
Ongoing Care
Follow-up visits build on progress and focus on improving movement quality, confidence, and resilience over time.
Care may include chiropractic adjustments, movement support, soft-tissue techniques, and simple home guidance — always selected based on what’s appropriate for you.
ACC & Payment
Axon Chiropractic is an ACC registered provider.
No referral is required.
If your visit relates to an ACC claim, we’ll guide you through the process and handle the paperwork where possible.
Is chiropractic right for me?
You don’t need to be in severe pain, injured, or committed to long-term care to benefit from chiropractic.
Many people come to Axon Chiropractic because movement feels restricted, recovery is slower than it used to be, or their body just isn’t working the way it should.
We’ll always explain your options clearly — and you’re free to decide what feels right for you.
PRACTICAL DETAILS
Initial appointments typically run for 30 - 40 minutes.
You don’t need to prepare anything special for your visit. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement, and feel free to bring any relevant reports or imaging if you have them.
You’re welcome to bring a support person with you to your appointment if that helps you feel more comfortable.
If you’re unsure whether chiropractic care is right for you, we’re happy to answer questions before your first appointment.
