Dr. Craig Aitu (Chiropractor)

Craig has a varied career path that has eventually led him to pursue a lifelong career aspiration to be a chiropractor. Craig was a classroom teacher for 14 years teaching at both primary and secondary levels. In 2006 he left the teaching profession and pursued a childhood dream career and joined the New Zealand Police as a sworn constable, based in Rotorua. Although he loved the comraderie and various experiences in the police, Craig found himself being directed towards a purpose where he could better serve the needs of the community as a chiropractor.

Craig’s first experience with chiropractic was with Dr. Donaldson, in Rotorua, who helped him manage many injuries from playing rugby union and league. Craig realised the amazing differences almost immediately and has ever since been an advocate for chiropractic and the many benefits it offers. Whilst pain and injury first exposed him to chiropractic, he realises that chiropractic offers so much more than just relief from pain. It is about functionality and having Quality of Life.
